Marfin: Two 42-year-old defendants transferred to Nafplio and Malandrino prisons

The two defendants charged over the deadly 2010 arson attack at Marfin are being transferred to Nafplio and Malandrino prisons.

The two 42-year-olds arrested in connection with the deaths of three Marfin employees in the May 2010 arson attack have been sent to Nafplio and Malandrino prisons.

The two suspects, who face charges of multiple counts of intentional homicide, were remanded in custody following their statements before the third regular investigating magistrate and are now being transferred to prison.

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old woman accused of involvement in the Marfin arson attack is expected to arrive in Greece from England within the next few days. The woman, who is being held by the British authorities, has consented to her extradition to Greece and will be transferred to Athens once the necessary procedures have been completed.
