Low temperatures and strong winds are forecast for May 1st, according to Thodoris Kolidis, who confirms the arrival of a cold front.
Specifically, the well-known meteorologist mentions that there will be an intensification of north-northeast winds, with colder air masses moving toward Greece.
Additionally, the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY) forecasts clouds with local rain in central and northern Greece, and scattered thunderstorms in the eastern regions during the morning hours on Friday, May 1st.

Tuesday, April 28th
The weather will be generally sunny, with local clouds in the midday and afternoon hours over the mainland’s mountains, where local showers will occur. Visibility will be locally restricted in the western and northern regions during the morning. Winds will vary from 2 to 4 Beaufort in the west, while in the east, they will blow from the north at 3 to 5 Beaufort, and locally 6 Beaufort in the Aegean. Temperatures will reach 24 to 26°C in most parts of the country, and locally up to 27°C in the north and east.
Macedonia, Thrace
Weather: Generally sunny with occasional clouds in the afternoon in the mountains, where local showers will occur.
Winds: From the south, and from the east in the east, 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 27°C. In Thrace, the maximum will be 2 to 3°C lower.
Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Central Greece, Western Peloponnese
Weather: Generally sunny with occasional clouds in the afternoon in the mountains, where local showers will occur.
Winds: Variable, 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 26°C.
Thessaly, Eastern Central Greece, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese
Weather: Generally sunny with occasional clouds in the afternoon in the mountains, where local showers will occur.

Generally sunny weather. By midday and afternoon, clouds will develop over the mainland, and local showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms will occur, mainly in the central and northern mountainous areas. The weather will remain cloudy in the north until late at night. Visibility will be locally reduced in the west and north during the morning, with potential for local fog.
Winds will be variable at 3 to 4 Beaufort in the west, and from the north at 4 to 5 Beaufort in the east, with local 6 Beaufort in the southeastern Aegean. Temperatures will not change significantly, reaching 24 to 26°C in most areas and locally up to 27°C in inland regions.
Thursday, April 30th
Initially, clouds will develop in the northern parts, and by midday, over the central mainland and northern Aegean, with rain and scattered thunderstorms. The rest of the country will have mostly sunny weather with some light cloud cover.
There will be local snowfall in the northern mountainous areas from the afternoon onwards.
Winds will start variable at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and in the Aegean, from the north at 5 Beaufort. By midday, winds from the north will prevail across the country, with stronger gusts of 6 to 7 Beaufort in northern seas.
Temperatures will drop in the north.
Friday, May 1st
The weather will begin with clouds and local rain in the central and northern parts, gradually affecting the rest of the country. Scattered thunderstorms will occur, mainly in the eastern parts of Greece.
There will be local snow in the mountainous areas of the mainland.
Winds will be from the north-northeast at 4 to 6 Beaufort, with 7 Beaufort in the Aegean.
Temperatures will drop across the country.
