A well-known 33-year-old musician was arrested at 9 a.m. in the Acropolis area, at the intersection of Makrygianni and Athanasiou Diakou streets, for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Officers from the DIAS motorcycle police unit administered a breathalyzer test, which recorded a reading of 0.63 mg/l, above the threshold for arrest under the summary procedure, leading to his detention.
The musician is being held at the Athens Traffic Police headquarters and is expected to appear before a prosecutor under the summary procedure.
