Ioannina: Father gave cocaine to his 14-year-old son and sent him to the hospital

The 36-year-old father of a 14-year-old was arrested for exposing a minor to drugs and violating drug laws after giving him cocaine.

A 36-year-old man was arrested on Thursday evening (01/01) in Ioannina, accused of exposure and violations of drug laws.
A case file was also opened against a 19-year-old for exposure in connection with the same case. As for the timing of the case, yesterday at noon, the police were informed by the mother of the 14-year-old that her son had been taken to the hospital because he was not feeling well, where it was determined that he had used cocaine.
The investigation that followed revealed that the previous night, on New Year’s Eve, the arrested father of the minor, while in a car with his minor son and his 19-year-old co-defendant, had used cocaine himself and then offered the substance to his minor son.
The arrested man will be brought before the Ioannina Public Prosecutor’s Office.
