Lora’s disappearance: Minors say they saw her in Zografou – They spoke to her and she ran away

New evidence has come to light regarding the disappearance of 16-year-old Laura, who left her home in Patras and traveled to Athens, where she has not been seen since.

Specifically, minors reported that they spotted the young girl on Tuesday afternoon (January 13) in Zografou.

The children approached her and showed her a photo, and when they told her that the authorities were looking for her, Laura started running, carrying two supermarket bags.

Hellenic Police officers believe that Laura is being sheltered in someone’s home, and the supermarket bags confirm this scenario.

It is also noteworthy that the authorities detected her mobile phone’s Wi-Fi signal active today in Omonia. Based on this information, it is now considered certain that the girl remains in Greece and is moving around the center of Athens.

Her last movements captured on video

Police have two video recordings in their possession, which are the last confirmed traces of her.

The young girl was recorded on video by security cameras in the area carrying a backpack, which she then abandons while appearing to exchange messages on her cell phone.

In the footage, she appears to be crossing Mikras Asia Street towards the center of Athens and then returning to a café to connect to the business’s Wi-Fi. Authorities now believe that she was planning to meet someone in Athens.

In another video, the 16-year-old is recorded shopping at a mini market near the Children’s Hospital.

Police officers are conducting an intensive search of the area for additional video footage while investigating the reason that prompted her to leave her home.

At the same time, her parents were summoned to the Patras Security Department to testify about the motives that apparently drove the minor to make a well-planned escape.

The girl’s mother claimed that there was no question of abuse by her or her father, as reported by relatives living in Germany.

However, the authorities are said to be keeping their reservations, as Laura appears to have been absolutely determined in her actions.

As for her half-brother, the authorities believe that she would not have gone to him either, since they had no relationship, and so they are searching for where she might have found refuge and assistance.
