A 16-year-old boy was killed in a road traffic accident in the early hours of today on the old Patras–Tripoli national road, in the Stamatéika area of the Municipality of Erymanthos, in Achaia.
According to the police, the car driven by the 16-year-old veered off the road for reasons that remain unknown and subsequently crashed into a safety barrier, resulting in fatal injuries.
Six firefighters with two vehicles rushed to the scene and extricated the minor from the wreckage unconscious. Police officers from the Erymanthos police department are conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the exact causes and circumstances of the fatal accident.
