Kypseli: Stabbing incident between schoolgirls – 14-year-old injured

Another serious incident of violence among minors occurred at the 15th Gymnasium of Kypseli— which is housed in the same building as the 60th Gymnasium—resulting in the injury of a female student. According to information, a fight broke out between students when one of them pulled out a knife and injured a 14-year-old classmate on the arm.

An EKAB ambulance was called to the school and transported the injured student to the Children’s Hospital. The alleged perpetrator of the attack, along with teachers from the school, are at the Athens Security Directorate giving statements about the serious incident.

“She stabbed her with a butterfly knife, there was blood on the floor”

“I went downstairs to drink some water, a lot of kids had gathered, and the girl pulled out the butterfly knife and stabbed the other girl in the stomach and then in the arm, and I saw blood dripping onto the floor,” said a student who witnessed the incident.

“I saw the girl covered in blood, on her arm and her stomach. A boy stepped in between them, and she tried to stab him as well,” described another witness.
