Thessaloniki: Driver dies behind the wheel – Car crashes into city bus

Tragedy struck western Thessaloniki when a man died while behind the wheel of his car. The vehicle continued moving out of control before crashing into a city bus.

A man died while driving in western Thessaloniki on Friday morning (November 6), after his car veered out of control and collided with a city bus.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:45 a.m. near the One Salonica shopping centre, causing alarm among passersby.
According to initial reports, the driver apparently lost consciousness while behind the wheel, causing the car to continue moving uncontrollably. Witnesses saw the vehicle travelling out of control, with the driver showing no response, until it crashed into a city bus.
The man was taken unconscious to Agios Dimitrios Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The exact circumstances of the incident, as well as the cause of his death, have yet to be determined.
