The health condition of the 20-year-old injured in the traffic accident involving PAOK supporters, who remains hospitalized in Timișoara, Romania, is improving.

The news coming from the hospital in Timișoara, where the 20-year-old injured in the traffic accident in Romania continues to be treated, is positive.
His condition is improving and he is now breathing without support, as doctors decided to extubate him. Medical staff are closely monitoring his progress, while he remains in the Intensive Care Unit as a precaution.
The surgical operation that was carried out was deemed necessary and successful. Doctors report that swelling had been detected on the 20-year-old’s vertebra, which was removed, preventing possible permanent damage. The operation was decided at the last moment, following the necessary examinations prior to his transfer.
According to ERT, the young man’s relatives are by his side, while the Greek embassy in Romania is being continuously informed about the progress of his health. At the same time, the Greek Minister of Health is in contact with his Romanian counterpart, monitoring the injured man’s condition and coordinating when it will be possible for his safe transfer to Greece, in the same manner as the other two injured individuals were transported.
