Kyriaki Griva case: Supervisor of the police station also released

The then supervisor of the Agioi Anargyroi Police Station, who was on duty the day Kyriaki Griva was murdered, was released after her testimony.

The police officer, charged with felony fatal exposure, was ordered to report twice a month to a police station as a restrictive measure.

According to information, the defendant denied the accusation, claiming she was not in the office when Kyriaki Griva reported her former partner, nor did she have any suspicion that the young woman might be in danger.

“I wasn’t present. I saw her leaving and heard her say she would call a patrol car. I returned to my office to collect my things. I did not perceive any danger for Kyriaki. I know nothing else about the case. I believe the charge against me cannot be substantiated due to lack of intent,” she reportedly told the investigator.

This was the last testimony among the police officers accused of fatal exposure by omission. Three others had already testified and were also released under the same restrictive condition.
