Two arrests for dangerous driving in Attica. One of them is the owner of a well-known bakery chain.

Officers of the Traffic Accident Control & Prevention Units (O.E.P.T.A.) of the Attica Traffic Directorate arrested two drivers on Friday (28/11). The drivers were found exceeding the maximum permitted speed limit, and case files were formed against them for dangerous driving.
Specifically, radar devices recorded both suspects driving their cars on major arterial roads in Attica at speeds above the legal limit.
In one case, a 56-year-old well-known businessman and owner of a bakery chain was caught driving at 216 km/h on Vouliagmenis Avenue in Argyroupoli, near SEPA—146 km/h above the limit. The other driver, a 38-year-old man, was recorded at 179 km/h on the Hymettus Peripheral Road, heading toward Rafina.
The arrested drivers were taken before the competent Prosecutor.
